General Ledger Data as a Service

Guidewire SurePath General Ledger solution has been deprecated because of non-alignment with cloud standards so there is no cloud native solution yet. DataHub based solution has high development cost and mostly limited to T & GL Account mapping, extract, transform and load to table or file systems only. Data Silos and reconciliation challenges with fragmented systems from different vendors Lack of real-time data access as most of the integration solution are batch solution causing delay of at least a day for Finance to review the financial data.

Persona / Use Case(s):

All Guidewire customers must feed financial data from our core applications. This would immediately apply to any customer who uses Data Studio.

Solution and Business Value:

Guidewire General Ledger Data as a Service will have a complete end-to-end solution to build GL ready curated data sets, extract and transfer to the major insurance accounting systems. Guidewire General Ledger Data as a Service will provide the GL data in real-time provided the accounting system is able to process the web service API calls

With this prebuilt content, implementation cost would be reduced.
