Product Validator

Process to validate a product model, it would be best to validate the product model from the JSON extracted from APD App as we can assume the errors that may be present in the mind map will have been identified and rectified by the import into APD App.

As a start the basic information from the product should be extracted and shown in various formats (possibly user choice) Graphical, Text, tree view etc.

This innovation would supersede the Product Definition Scoring as that would become part of this.

Many products are defined badly due to lack of experience or other factors.

👔 The future customers
Score products based on best practices, this would provide information as to why the product does not fit best practices along with a rating. By having a good product definition this should help all parts of the project function better together.

💡 The idea & benefits
Generate better products that will be beneficial to the project as a whole. What makes up a good product will vary from product to product and various criteria will need to be used based on the product being verified.

The amount of rework on a product will be reduced and results can be discussed with the business, while many product that are built follow what the business has had before these were created over time in system that often had to make compromises, this aims to remove that to help the product be modern and ready for the future.
