App Events Catalog

Problem Statement:
Guidewire currently lacks a tool to document all IG apps subscribed to AppEvents. While the AppEvents console shows configured webhooks, it doesn't provide visibility into which IG apps depend on an event, the specific event, its context/domain, or the resulting payload.

Persona / Use Case(s):
Business users, integration developers and integration solution architect

Solution and Business Value:
Offering and deploying a customized version of the open-source Event Catalog (EventCatalog) to all our cloud customers that use AppEvents.

Improving events and integration artifacts documentation, increasing the rate of reuse of existing solutions, enhancing collaboration and simplifying onboarding for new developers

Additional Information:
I've dedicated some of my spare time to making minor customizations and tailoring the open-source Event Catalog (EventCatalog) to fit within the insurance domain context. Additionally, I've prepared a presentation in response to a request from my practice manager, which I've shared with my peers.
